Best Buy, Here We Come
Our camera has gone on to camera heaven, and it's time to redeem our Best Buy points for a new model. I'd love to get an slr camera because I'm constantly missing great shots. But, I don't want to spend an arm and a leg because we also need a new video camera, which is also on the fritz. Any suggestions from my photog friends out there?

we have a nikon d60 and love it. but it doesn't take video. i think the d90 might. good luck!! :)
No suggestions for you! We have the Nikon d40 and LOVE IT! We catch everything. The only downside is we have TOO many pictures. We have a flip video to take video. I wish they were on one, but gave up that functionality to catch the good shots!

My friend Ben also has a video camera that shoots stills, so might be goot to invest in one thing that does both...i don't know the name of it, but I will find out for you. Cannon Rebel's are good and easy to use SLR's, Im an Olympus fan myself and have 2 SLR's, my last one that's about 3 years old was $600 including 2 lenses. Call me or email me and I can help.
