Happy Birthday Mom...a bit late!

It dawned on me a week after my mom's 60th that I didn't do a "Happy Birthday" post. How could I not devote a post to the woman who carried me in her womb, nursed me for years upon years and taught me important principles like "do not wear horizontal stripes or sleeveless shirts"! So, since Kari, mom and I celebrated her 60th birthday this past week in Chicago, I thought it was a fitting time to do a late happy birthday post.
In all seriousness, mom, thank you for everything! I love you "gobs & gobs", as you would put it. Here's to another 60 years! Or at least another 40! :)

Kelli, you are right-how could anyone in the Crawford family forget the all important fashion rules of no horizontal stripes or sleeveless shirts. But you forgot another Jewel Rule-No plaid on your butt! Its so funny that even non-Crawfords know the rules. I saw Rachel Holloway at town one day and she saw a shirt she liked but then said "but I can't get it, it has horizontal stripes, Jewel says you can't wear it". Where would we all be without our fashion tips? They do keep us in line. Love ya! Aunt Tracy

Guess I am in trouble with the "Fashion Patrol"....I have broken the rules. I have worn sleeveless, horizontal stripes AND plaid across my butt! Sorry, if I embarassed the family...LOL!

I know your Mom had a great time celebrating her 60th for the 2nd time....nothing like being reminded you are 60! Just kidding.
