Since our dining room table was getting up there in years and didn't match the rest of our furniture, I thought I'd try to sell it on Craig's List. I posted it last Monday afternoon, and in less than 24 hours, it was sold! We ate Easter dinner on folding tables (I didn't think the timing through on this one). Now, I can't seem to find what I'm looking for:
•Round pedestal table.
•Dark wood.
•Leaf.
•Quaint...not too formal or fancy.
•Sturdy.
•Not at a Pottery Barn price!
Why are the simplest things sometimes the hardest to find?
For now, the dining room is our new rec room. Any takers on how long the mirror or those plates will last with the Better Batter Baseball threatening their existence?

Oh my goodness! This sounds like something I would do! Just keep looking and you will find something! I will keep my eye out. I do love round dining tables. We have had luck with Craigslist too. Easy and done.
