not on Facebook??
For Pete's sake - my mom and dad both have their own pages! I accidentally created a profile about 6 months ago when logging on to see my pal Kami's page. The whole thing was a bit overwhelming, though - yes, I'm a nerd! So, I closed it out.
Part of me feels like I might be missing out on reconnecting with old friends. But the other part of me is afraid I would spend hours a day on the site...seeing what friends are doing, finding old friends, asking others to be my "friend". Seriously, I can imagine my kids running through the streets in their diapers & underwear (respectively) while I update my page with "Kelli just had a turkey sandwich and is looking forward to an exciting episode of Oprah this afternoon."
Are there any holdovers out there who haven't jumped on the Facebook wagon...or am I the only "friendless" loner?

Hi Sweetie: Yes, I did start on Facebook....but now...I'm not so sure about it. Everyday someone else wants to be my Friend...that's great, but I'm so afraid I'll forget to write back, or not comment to someone I should, or I'll miss someone's "Birthday" and I'll feel really bad. Not sure I can handle it either....It really grows out of control quick! (But if I see Hayden running down the street and Carson trying to get of his little seat by himself...I'll know you been "Facebooked"! Congrats on the great weight loss by the way! Love ya gobs!
Come on hot momma join facebook with the rest of us cool chicks!!! I really enjoy it. Also, congrats on the 20 pounds, that is awesome.
I so wish you would join Facebook! I love it! You can visit the site as little or as often as you'd like. You will find tons of friends!!! Promise....and I will happily be your first! Love ya!
Kelli, even your 12 year old niece is on facebook! haha!
Well- let me be the first one to say that I am NOT on Facebook. To me, it's a bit too personal.
Of course, take that from a woman who wrote about farts yesterday on her blog! ha!
I'm just not ready to expose myself quite that much.
But, hey- I will be your friend!
Well... I may be a bit old to be on Facebook but then who is to say what is too old?... I figure I'll communicate/reply to who I want and ignore the rest. After all, isn't that what life is all about? My bit of wisdom for the day, sort of...
As always, love ya... dad
I'm mentioned in your post! WOO HOO Honorable mention! Let me say this. I'm a MySpacer AND a Facebooker respectively. I was a MySpacer first as initially Facebook wasn't available to those who didn't attend college, and obviously that has changed. I get on once or twice a week and I don't participate in any of that button giving flair sharing, drink for a cause crap. I ignore all those things. I use it for networking only. I post pictures and little things on my wall, and on occassion when i get sucked into my home PC I dabble in other's lives and photos. It's addicting. You can make it as personal or as private as you want, there's a variety of options. it is what it is, use it at your leisure and don't feel bad if someone wants to be your friend again and you don't, jsut say no thanks or deny their request, it's not the end of the world. I have deleted people and not accepted people as my friends for many reasons, it's YOUR page to do with what ever you wish. Do it! Add me! E and Jen are on too! See you next week! XOXO
