While at the grocery store today, we walked by a cute little blonde girl, probably 5 or 6 yrs old.
"She's a beautiful pretty girl," Hayden said.
"Yes she is honey."
"She puts hearts in my eyes," he answered back.
Can you tell his favorite "new" cartoon is Tom & Jerry?
He's also been giving us recaps of his Sunday school lessons lately. About a month ago, he was on a mission to tell Troy and I to live wisely (pronounced with 3 syllables: wise-ill-ee), and that we should not build our house on the sand, but on the rock. Last week he apparently learned about how God caught "Joe" after his friends & animals died. I'm assuming they studied Job...which is pretty heavy material for a preschooler. And, after listening to me practice a song for Easter Sunday called "He Rose", which goes "He Rose. Jesus, He Rose...", he is convinced that I'm singing about Jesus Heroes, which I suppose would make great action figures.
It's true. Kids do say the darndest things.

That is so funny! Please keep a journal so he can laugh about it when he's 18!
Thank you for writing such awesome entertaining blogs! This one made me giggle. Can't wait to see you!
Those are the best stories! It's so fun that he's at that phase. Get a journal and start keeping them to give to him when he gets older!
